Construction on the park began last year. When its doors open at 2pm, the first 500 visitors will receive free ice cream (could that be blueberry and mango flavours to mark EU colours?)
After finishing your ice cream, head into the Court, which is open to the public until 6pm.
Across the street on Place de l’Europe, you’ll find food trucks, concerts and a European village with stands.
Special guests on the square are Luxembourg City mayor Lydie Polfer, Chamber President Fernand Etgen, PM Xavier Betteln, MEP Marc Angel and EU Commissioner Nicolas Schmit.
Grand Duke Henri will then slice a special EU cake at 2pm.
