According to RTL InformationParent company of 'Luxemburger Wort' to change its name to 'Mediahuis Luxembourg S.A.'

“Mediahuis” is the name of the company’s new shareholder, a media group from Belgium.

In 2020, Mediahuis acquired the shares in Saint Paul from Luxembourg’s diocese, i.e. the Catholic Church. Following the purchase, around 70 of the 330 Wort employees were laid off. The newspaper has recently started hiring new employees again.
