Road closuresOvernight traffic disruptions in Luxembourg City
Key roads in Luxembourg City, including Avenue de la Liberté, Rue Glesener, and Rue de Strasbourg will be closed overnight from 20 January to 1 February, 2025, as part of pipes connection works.
The municipality of Luxembourg City informs that, as part of canal connection works, the following traffic modifications will be implemented from Monday, 20 January, to Saturday, 1 February, 2025, during nighttime hours from 10pm to 6am, Monday through Saturday.
Affected roads will include:
- Avenue de la Liberté, from Rue Jean Origer in the direction of Place de la Gare.
- Rue Glesener, between Rue André Duchscher and Avenue de la Liberté.
- Rue de Strasbourg, between Rue du Fort Wedell and Avenue de la Liberté.
The Traffic Department of the City of Luxembourg will ensure the installation of appropriate signage to guide road users during the closures.
