Last year, over 50,000 people made use of one of the services offered by Luxembourg's Red Cross. Director Michel Simonis presented the charity's annual report to the press on Thursday, highlighting the great need in many of the sectors in which the charity is active.

One priority is housing for young people. In September 2025, the Red Cross opened a centre in Oberglabach providing multiple services aimed at children and young people. But demand is extremely high in spite of the new facilities, so the charity is in talks with three other municipal councils to plan the opening of further centres. Another important project is the national centre for victims of violence, which was inaugurated last year, and has helped around 400 victims since.
