According to a press release from the Greens, the opposition – namely the LSAP, the Greens, the Left, and the Pirate Party – called for the parliamentary vote on the European migration pact to be postponed until after Tuesday.

The party argued that, having failed to prepare for months, the government was now using self-created time pressure to push through problematic legislation. Singling out Interior Minister Léon Gloden's draft law, the Greens described it as overly restrictive and full of unanswered questions.
