
In the early hours of Friday morning, a fire broke out at a residential property in Hautcharage, prompting a significant emergency response.
The incident occurred on Rue de l’Église during the night from Thursday to Friday. At approximately 3am, the Grand Ducal Fire and Rescue Corps (CGDIS) was alerted to the blaze. By the time firefighters arrived on the scene, the roof of the single-family house was already fully engulfed in flames. Despite the intensity of the fire, only one person sustained minor injuries.
Emergency Medical Assistance Team (SAMU) paramedics from Esch-sur-Alzette, along with first responders from Sanem-Differdange and Schifflange, attended to the injured individual. Firefighting teams from Käerjeng, Esch-sur-Alzette, Kahler, and Mondercange worked together to bring the fire under control.
In an unrelated incident earlier on Thursday evening, a collision on Route d’Esch in Luxembourg City resulted in one person being injured. The accident occurred around 5.30pm, prompting a swift response from paramedics based in Mamer and Luxembourg City.
