
According to the Grand Ducal Fire and Rescue Corps (CGDIS), an accident involving two cars occurred at 10.44pm on the CR176 between Rodange and Differdange. One person was injured. Emergency crews from the Sanem-Differdange fire and rescue centre and from Pétange attended the scene.
Several fires were also reported nationwide. In Rue des Prunelles in Cessange, a house caught fire shortly before 5pm on Saturday. Fire crews from Luxembourg City and Hesperange were deployed. No injuries were reported.
Shortly before 8pm, a tree caught fire in Rue de la Gare in Moestroff. Firefighters from Bettendorf were on site to deal with the blaze.
In Differdange, a rubbish bin caught fire in Rue Emile Mark at 9.15pm, with crews from the Sanem-Differdange fire and rescue centre responding.
A similar incident occurred shortly before midnight in Avenue J.F. Kennedy in Ettelbruck, where teams from the Nordstad attended.
