Car accident in northern LuxembourgOne injured as vehicle crashes into safety barrier

An accident in the northern region of the country left one person injured on Sunday afternoon, as reported by emergency services.

The incident transpired at around 2.30pm when a motorist lost control of their vehicle, colliding with a safety barrier along the CR325 between Drauffelt and Clervaux. Emergency services promptly arrived at the scene and attended to one injured person.

Meanwhile, the fire brigade received a call regarding a chimney fire in Weiler-la-Tour. Teams from the Grand Ducal Fire and Rescue Corps (CGDIS) provided assistance to two individuals experiencing mild poisoning.

Emergency services from Weiler-la-Tour, Hesperange, and Bettembourg were on-site to address the situation.
