Firefighters were called to an unusual incident in a park in Mersch on Monday morning after a ride-on mower fell into the river Alzette.
According to the Grand Ducal Fire and Rescue Corps (CGDIS), one person was injured. Emergency crews from Mersch attended the scene, along with the aquatic rescue group (GSAQ), and the Logistics Support Centre.
Shortly after 8am, a motorcycle and a car collided on Rue de Luxembourg in Frisange. One person was injured, with firefighters from Frisange and an ambulance from Dudelange responding.
Between 10am and 11am, firefighters were also called to two hedge fires, one on Rue des Mouleurs in Dudelange and the other on Wäistrooss in Remerschen.
