The Independent Luxembourg Trade Union Confederation (OGBL) has warned of an impending “social conflict” within the country’s pharmacy sector, citing a deadlock in negotiations over a new collective agreement.
In a press release issued Thursday afternoon, the OGBL stated that employers’ representatives are “blocking any progress” in the talks, making a social conflict “unavoidable”.
To address the stalemate, the union has scheduled a press conference for Friday morning at the Chamber of Employees. Further details are expected in the coming hours.
