PoliceOfficers arrest drug dealer on train bound for Belgium

On Tuesday, a police patrol arrested a man for selling prohibited substances in the capital's Gare district.

Officers witnessed how the man was selling drugs in the capital before getting on a train bound for Belgium. The dealer was thus arrested and the police confiscated €1,000 in small banknotes. By order of the prosecutor’s office, he was presented to an examining magistrate and transferred to Schrassig prison on Wednesday.

Emergency services

Two cars collided in Clemency at 6.30pm on Wednesday, leaving just as many people injured. Emergency services from Pétange, Differdange/Sanem, and Bascharage were called to the scene.
