The Nordstad municipalities are taking another step towards a merger on Monday, as all four local councils will vote on a so-called concordant resolution that formally sets out their intention to join forces.
Diekirch and Ettelbruck gave the proposal a unanimous green light during their afternoon sittings, RTL has learned. The municipal councils in Erpeldange-sur-Sûre and Schieren are due to meet later in the early evening.
