CHdN and CHEM hospitalsNo patient visits from Friday

RTL Today
To ensure the safety of patients, hospitals have decided to ban patient visits from Friday.

This concerns the Centre Hospitalier du Nord (CHdN) and the Centre Hospitalier Emile Mayrisch (CHEM). There are some exceptions, however.

At the CHdN, this is the maternity ward, the palliative ward and end of life patients.

The three sites in Esch, Niederkorn and Dudelange have exceptions in place for patients in the “green zone” (non-Covid): underage patients can have both parents present, mothers can have their partners present when delivering, and the maternity ward allows a one hour visit by the partner. Furthermore, visits for patients in a critical health phase or at end of life can also be approved by the attending physician.
