On Wednesday afternoon, firefighters responded to a blaze in Luxembourg City’s Rollingergrund district after a caravan on Rue Nicolas Ries caught fire. According to the Grand Ducal Fire and Rescue Corps (CGDIS), emergency crews were quickly on the scene and able to bring the blaze under control.
There was no risk of the flames spreading.
The caravan, which was parked in a green area, was engulfed in flames several metres high, as shown in a video from the scene. Firefighters from Luxembourg City prevented the fire from spreading further and secured the area.
The CGDIS reported no injuries.
