Nine new petitions have been published on the Chamber of Deputies website, all in need of 5,500 signatures in order to reach the threshold for public debate.

The petitions were put online on Saturday and will remain open for signatures until 23 January. They need to reach the threshold of 5,500 signatures in order to be eligible for a public debate.

Among the new petitions are calls for the creation of a sovereign fund to pay for pension reforms, and a new link between the A7 motorway and the N15 road in order to divert traffic away from the centre of Ettelbruck. Another petition suggests introducing more advantageous VAT on products manufactured in Luxembourg.
