On Tuesday, the municipality of Luxembourg City published the new temporary timetable for its bus lines, which will apply as of 28 December.

The municipality decided to adapt the timetable following the government's announcement of new measures in the fight against Covid-19.

The following lines will see adjustments to their schedule:

  • Adapted frequency on Saturdays on lines 8, 11 and 30: every 30 minutes instead of every 20 minutes.
  • Adapted frequency from Monday to Saturday on line 12: every 30 minutes instead of every 20 minutes;
  • Adapted frequency from Monday to Friday on line 15: every 30 minutes instead of every 20 minutes;
  • Line 17: reduced frequency (every 20 minutes) between 9 am and 3.30 pm and after 7.15 pm; normal timetable for the rest of the day. The line is suspended on Saturdays;
  • Adapted frequency from Monday to Friday on line 18: every 10 minutes instead of every 7-8 minutes;
  • Line 19: reduced frequency (every 30 minutes instead of 20 minutes) from Monday to Friday. The line is suspended on Saturdays;
  • Adapted frequency from Monday to Friday on line 20: every 15 minutes during peak hours (7.30 am - 9.00 am and 4.30 pm - 6.30 pm) and every 20 minutes for the rest of the day (compared with every 10 and 15 minutes in normal time);
  • Adapted frequency from Monday to Friday on line 22: every 10 minutes at peak times and every 15 minutes for the rest of the day (compared with every 10 minutes continuously in normal time);
  • Adapted frequency from Monday to Friday on line 26: continuously every 20 minutes, no increased frequency during peak hours; 
  • Line 31 is suspended on Saturdays;
  • The City Shopping Bus is suspended until further notice. 

Face masks have to be worn at all times when using public transport.
