Ceremonies were organised in several locations: at Gëlle Fra, also known as the Monument of Remembrance, and at Cannon Hill, also known as the National Monument of the Solidarity.

Grand Duke Henri, Chamber President Fernand Etgen, Prime Minister Xavier Bettel, Minister of Defence François Bausch, and Luxembourg City Mayor Lydie Polfer were present to put down crests and honour the fallen.
