Initial reports suggest the collision occurred at around 12.30pm on Monday, leaving at least one person with serious injuries. Further details have not been released at the time of writing.
The N8 was still closed to traffic between Reckange and Brouch some two hours after the accident. Motorists were advised to avoid the area.
