Throughout the week spanning from 19 February to 25 February, the traffic police, in collaboration with local traffic units, conducted inspections as part of the international “Truck & Bus” campaign, specifically meant to address issues related to lorries and buses.
The police announced on Monday that a total of 27 fines were issued as a result of these operations.
Among the offences detected, nine cases revealed tachograph faults or violations of drivers’ driving and rest times. Ten drivers were fined for unauthorised exits from transit lanes.
In one case, a vehicle lacked the compulsory Eurovignette, and seven lorries were found with inadequate load securing measures.
