Friday night saw the Luxembourg police responding to multiple incidents, including drink driving and a series of burglaries.

A range of incidents required the attention of Luxembourg police on Friday night.

Reports of reckless driving were received in Luxembourg City and Tétange, with both drivers found to be under the influence of alcohol.

That same night, the police handled 21 noise complaints. In most cases, the situations were either resolved on the spot or had ended before officers arrived. However, in three instances, individuals were found to be so intoxicated that they posed a risk to themselves and others. These individuals were taken into custody for the night.

Burglaries were also reported in Wormeldange, Ellange, Leudelange, Heinerscheid, and Luxembourg City. Forensic teams were despatched to investigate.

In a separate incident, the Grand Ducal Fire and Rescue Corps (CGDIS) reported a car collision in Howald at 8.30am on Saturday, which resulted in one person being injured.

Additional accidents were reported on Friday evening, including a pedestrian being struck by a vehicle in Bergem and a motorcycle crash in Marnach. Both incidents left one person injured.
