In Bettembourg, an attempt was made to break into a detached house in Rue Charles Jacquinot on Friday night. The unknown perpetrator(s) had climbed onto the terrace and tried to smash a window. The attempt was unsuccessful.

On Saturday morning, a burglar entered a house in Rue des Hauts-Fourneaux in Dommeldange by climbing through an open window on the roof. Authorities believe the individual used the gutter to access the roof.

At noon on Saturday, an unidentified perpetrator broke into a detached house on Route de Zouftgen by taking the terrace door off its hinges.

In the afternoon, another burglar tried to force their way into two second-floor flats on Boulevard Pierre Frieden in Kirchberg. Although unsuccessful, the entrance door sustained significant damage.

Over the course of Saturday to Sunday, a flat inside a residential building on Avenue G.-D. Charlotte in Dudelange fell victim to a burglary. The culprit forcibly entered the flat by breaking open the front door and proceeded to search the rooms, stealing several valuable items, including watches.

On Sunday night, an attempted break-in occurred at a school building in Rue Gaston Thorn in Mamer, resulting in a broken window. The intruder(s) fled the scene without taking anything.

In another incident, garden tools were stolen from a shed in Rue de Pommiers in Cents after the perpetrator(s) smashed a window.

A hairdressing salon in Rue de Grevenmacher in Remich was broken into over the weekend, with the cash register being looted.

A restaurant in Rue de la Gare in Mersch also fell victim to a break-in during the same period.

On late Sunday evening, the police received a report of a burglary at a detached house in Rue Jean Claus in Schifflange. Residents had heard suspicious noises. The burglar fled as soon as they realised they were not alone. Tools and other evidence were later recovered, but the search for the suspect(s) yielded no results.

Between Friday and Sunday, a burglary occurred at a house in Rue de Bastogne in Beggen. The intruder(s) broke open a terrace door and searched the premises, stealing valuables, including watches as well as the safe in which they were kept.

Additional break-ins took place in Rue du Fort Wedell and Rue André Duscher in Luxembourg City, as well as in Rue du Cimetière in Bonnevoie, where multiple cellars were targeted.

In all cases, charges were filed, investigations were launched and, depending on the circumstances, evidence was collected.

The police once again refer to their information and prevention suggestions on their website.
