A series of traffic incidents across Luxembourg on Tuesday left several people injured, including a collision in Bonnevoie that forced the closure of a junction and the diversion of traffic.

A diversion was put in place on Tuesday afternoon after two vehicles collided in Bonnevoie. The accident occurred shortly before 2pm at the junction of Rue de Carignan and Rue Auguste Charles, prompting the closure of the intersection.

A taxi and a car were involved in the collision, with both vehicles blocking the junction. According to information obtained by RTL, one person was taken to hospital.

Several other traffic incidents were reported over the course of the day. At 11.18am, two people were injured in a two-car collision on the A13 in the Aessen tunnel, with rescue teams from Dudelange, Esch-sur-Alzette, Sanem-Differdange, and Schifflange attending the scene.

At around 2.20pm on the RN06 between Mamer and Capellen, a bus and a car collided, leaving one person injured. Paramedics from Mamer were on site.

At approximately 3.30pm in Hesperange on Route de Thionville, one person was injured after falling off a scooter. Emergency services from Luxembourg City and Hesperange responded, with an Air Rescue helicopter also deployed.
