
The Chamber of Deputies passed an additional budget of €39.9 million for the renovation of the Ettelbruck Railway Station. The original budget for the project was €98 million.
MPs also gave their approval to the Housing Fund’s ‘An der Schmëtt’ project in Wecker, which is being built on the site of the former Syrdall neighbourhood. 164 new dwellings will be built by 2028. The project was passed unanimously.
The Alternative Democratic Reform Party (adr) submitted a motion demanding the introduction of a mechanism to ensure that fuel would always be cheaper in Luxembourg than in neighbouring countries. The motion was rejected by all other parties.
