According to the Grand Ducal Fire and Rescue Corps (CGDIS), a serious traffic accident involving a motorcycle occurred at around 6.15pm on Thursday. A motorcycle and a car collided between Wilwerdange and Wemperhardt. While the motorcyclist was transported to hospital via a rescue helicopter due to his severe injuries, another person sustained minor injuries.
A second accident occurred on Place de la Paix in Esch-sur-Alzette at around 1.45am. A collision between two cars left one person injured.
