A total of 85 of these applications received approval. Collectively, these companies provide employment to just over 8,000 individuals.
Looking back at the month of July, of the 85 companies granted approval for partial unemployment, 42 chose to implement it. Consequently, out of nearly 9,400 workers, approximately 1,500 were ultimately affected by this measure. The cost incurred by the state for the month of July in providing support to these affected employees amounted to around €1.4 million.
