
One further death from Covid-19 was reported, meaning the total death toll in the Grand Duchy now stands at 812.
As a reminder, the Ministry of Health is no longer publishing Covid-19 data on Sundays. Monday’s update contained very limited data. This update will therefore cover multiple days, detailed below, so as not to miss any information.
11,099 tests were carried out on Saturday, with 85 coming back positive. The positivity rate was 0.77%.
A further 978 tests were carried out on Sunday (reported on Monday), identifying 9 cases. The positivity rate was 1.05%.
Finally, 420 tests were carried out on Monday, with 1 positive result. The positivity rate was 0.24%.
There are currently 17 patients in standard hospital care, down by five over the weekend. The number in intensive care remains at 17.
As of Monday, there were 1,266 active infections in Luxembourg, while 67,501 patients have recovered from the virus.
222,112 people have received their first vaccine dose in Luxembourg. 100,639 of those have received a second dose.
As of Monday, the R rate was at 0.80.
