Corinne Cahen intends to devote herself to local politics following her good result in last Sunday’s municipal elections in the capital, where she is due to join the municipal executive board (Schäfferot).
The transition of leadership took place at the Grand Ducal Palace, where Hahn was officially sworn in to assume his new role.
Hahn served until now as the Chairman of the Parliamentary Committee for Family Affairs.
The newly appointed minister has outlined his immediate objectives, stating that he intends to prioritise crucial decisions regarding family policy in the coming weeks and get the corresponding draft bills through the Chamber of Deputies.
