Marcel Leyers, Head of Corporate and Institutional Banking, will be taking up Delcourt's mantle.
Leyers, 56 years old, has been working at the bank since 1983. The executive committee unanimously nominated Leyers to take over the roles of CEO and director.
BIL is Luxembourg's oldest private bank, founded in 1856. Today, the bank counts more than 2,000 employees.
