According to police, a verbal disagreement had taken place in the person’s home at around 4.20am. Emergency services carried out first aid at the scene, before transporting the man to hospital with severe injuries, thought to have been self-inflicted.
There are no further details on the person’s condition, or the circumstances which led to his injuries, at this stage. A spokesperson for the police said the public prosecutor’s office had been informed of the incident.
