On Tuesday, a man was caught red-handed in a shopping centre in Kirchberg while trying to leave a shop with a mobile phone that he had not paid for and stowed away in his backpack.
The shopping centre's security called the police. Once the officers arrived on site, they carried out a search and discovered that the man had stolen several other items. It turned out that prior to his shoplifting attempt, he had also broken into a car.
