On Monday afternoon, the police officers noticed a group of people drinking alcohol in Avenue de la Liberté in Differdange. During the check that followed, a man suddenly drove his electric scooter into an officer and hit him.
Both men fell to the ground. The attacker then fled on foot towards the centre of Differdange, where he was finally arrested shortly afterwards.
While fleeing, the man had disposed of several bags of marijuana. The drugs were seized, and the individual was fined.
