The attacker allegedly threatened the driver with a weapon and took both his phone and wallet, before escaping the scene. The police later identified and detained the man on Avenue Charles de Gaulle, still in possession of the stolen goods, although no weapon was found. An investigation has been launched.
Police further report that around 9 p.m. on Wednesday, a drunk driver crashed into a tree between Boulevard Konrad Adenauer and Boulevard du Prince Charles in Kirchberg.
