The City of Luxembourg wishes to inform the public that the lift linking the Pfaffenthal to the upper town will be out of service for monthly maintenance work, as provided for in the Grand-Ducal Regulation of 25 October 1999 relating to lifts.

To be as well informed as possible about the lift, users can download the cityapp - VDL on their smartphone. This app provides real-time information on the status of the lift, such as the operating status of the lift, the usual opening hours, punctual closures for maintenance work or shutdowns due to temporary technical problems
