On Tuesday evening, a police patrol noticed a vehicle parked on the pavement with its hazard lights on along Rue du Commerce in Luxembourg City.

Upon inspection, officers found that the driver could not present a valid tax sticker or roadworthiness certificate. Additionally, the driver failed a breathalyser test. A report was filed regarding the incident.

Later that night, another police patrol detected the smell of alcohol during a vehicle inspection on Rue des Glacis in Luxembourg City. The driver was asked to take a breathalyser test, which also came back positive. Similar to the earlier case, the driver lacked a valid roadworthiness certificate and was issued a temporary driving ban.

Two other drink-drivers were reported for their erratic driving. One vehicle was seen zigzagging between Grevels and Koetschette, while another driver was caught speeding at 86 km/h over Pont Grand-Duchesse Charlotte, where the speed limit is 50 km/h. In both instances, police filed reports on the incidents.
