In the early hours of Wednesday morning, a car was stolen on Rue de Neudorf in Luxembourg City. The thief was quickly caught by a patrol.

A search was initiated after the car was reported stolen. The car was intercepted on Rue de Trèves, and the driver was swiftly apprehended by police officers.

The driver was taken to the police station. In response to the incident, the public prosecutor’s office issued an arrest order. The suspect was subsequently presented before an examining magistrate on Wednesday afternoon.

Seeing as he also tested positive for alcohol, the police also issued a driving ban.
