According to the Luxembourg Army, the exercise will be held on the territory of, or in the vicinity of, several municipalities across the country, with the municipality of Wiltz among those involved. The exercises will take place from 2 to 5 February.
The manoeuvres are described as part of the Army’s operational training, intended to prepare personnel for deployments and missions abroad. Around 100 soldiers and 20 military vehicles will take part in the exercise. The Army also confirmed that training ammunition will be used during the drills.
