On Saturday evening, Luxair's newest aircraft, a Boeing B737-8Max with registration LX-LBC, touched down at Luxembourg's Findel Airport.
Before arriving in the Grand Duchy, the aircraft completed its initial journey by flying from Seattle to Reykjavik, where it spent the night before making its way to Luxembourg.
The jet sports Luxair's signature colours as it joins the airline's expanding fleet.
Following the publication of our original article, Luxair clarified that this Boeing is a brand-new, additional aircraft for the airline.
The two aircraft currently operated under leasing agreements are scheduled to be replaced by new planes in 2027.
