Luxair has added Helsinki and Edinburgh to its network, launching direct services from Luxembourg on 2 and 3 July respectively, the airline announced in a press release.
Both routes will operate twice a week. Flights to Helsinki will run on Mondays and Thursdays, while Edinburgh will be served on Mondays and Fridays, according to the press release.
Luxair stated that both destinations had been requested by travellers for several years and had attracted strong interest from business and leisure passengers alike.
Thomas Fischer, Luxair's Chief Commercial Officer, said the two routes reflected long-standing demand.
"They have generated real demand, they are attractive in both directions, and they fit very well with the way we want to grow our network as our fleet renewal gives us new opportunities", he said in the press release.
Helsinki and Edinburgh are among nine new routes being added by Luxair in 2026, bringing the airline's network to 101 destinations.
