
Passengers on the first 10:20 flight were treated to a Luxembourgish-British breakfast, including croissants, Luxembourgish Schneck, local crémant but also English breakfast tea.
British Ambassador to Luxembourg, Mrs Fleur Thomas, attended the event and welcomed passenger aboard.
Scheduled three times a week on Monday, Wednesday and Friday, Manchester will be Luxair’s second UK direct flight after London City.
There was also a funky photo session for passengers. Luxair had distributed scarves to passengers, allowing them to proudly display their allegiance to Manchester United or Manchester City football clubs.
