Aircraft LX-LEB’s first flight to Porto turned around after a short time for safety reasons, and flew back to Luxembourg instead of continuing to Porto.
According to a Luxair statement, additional technical checks had to be carried out. However, the Luxembourg airline did not specify what exactly these checks involved.
The plane landed safely at Findel in accordance with all standard procedures. The affected passengers will be re-booked onto another flight on Friday afternoon.
