Welfring left the Agency’s management in April to succeed Carole Dieschbourg as Minister for the Environment.
Zwank will be assisted by Anne Majerus, who will become deputy director, and David Glod.
Joëlle Welfring only held the position of director of the Environment Agency for a few weeks after the previous director, Robert Schmit, retired.
