RTL Today editor Dani Lodhi-Dunne found herself stuck in a line weaving around the terminal on Friday afternoon. Even with two booths open, it took her one hour to reach security.
Earlier this month, lux-airport advised passengers to arrive at least two hours before departure, even with no checked-in baggage.
Previous night check-in is strongly advised between 7.30pm-10.30pm for Luxair flights departing the next morning between 6-9am, the airport says.
