MP Goergen enquired whether Minister Bofferding had responded to a letter from opposition parties on the Luxembourg City municipal council, who demanded that the Minister intervene so that contracts with the private security firm be cancelled.
In her official response, Minister Bofferding explained that an appeal for annulment was filed with the administrative court against two of the letters that she sent to the opposition. At the same time, an appeal was filed against the municipal council for setting up the contracts with the private security firm.
Minister Bofferding concluded that she will not make a statement on any of the proceedings until a verdict has been announced.
