The Luxembourg City Tourist Office (LCTO) expressed satisfaction with the influx of visitors over the past four days, as a total of 1,805 tourists visited the Grand Duchy's capital.

This figure represents 86% of the visitor count from 2019, providing a promising sign for the future. The majority of visitors seeking information from the LCTO originated from Germany, 628 people to be precise. Following closely were French tourists (268), Dutch travellers (160), Belgians (88), and Luxembourgers (81). Notably, more than one in ten visitors hailed from outside Europe.

The reopening of the casemates has sparked significant interest, with all available slots fully booked from 26 May to 29 May. Approximately 1,000 individuals took advantage of tourist guides. During the Pentecost weekend, the LCTO’s website recorded 49,001 clicks, with 15,979 referrals coming through the luxembourgcity.com site. Compared to 2019, this represents a 55% increase in online engagement.
