Between 60 and 70 participants were in attendance, including SEO employees and trade union activists. They deplored the working conditions near the pump storage plant.
In a press release, the LCGB lamented that conversations with direction led nowhere, that problems were “downplayed” and that the direction allegedly pressures and intimidates its employees.
The union says around 30 people have left the company voluntarily so far.
The Luxembourgish government and the German energy group, RWE Power, each hold 40.43% of SEO, making them the largest shareholders.
