In the images released on Facebook, the trail’s wooden information signs appear to have been hacked away by an axe, according to the municipality. Along with spraying graffiti over the structure, the vandals also attempted to start a fire in the observation tower,
“The traces appear to be fresh, so we believe the damage occurred over the last 2-3 days,” the council wrote on Facebook.
A complaint has been filed with the police. Anyone who may have information relating to the vandalism should contact the municipal council on 921445 or 691 355 903.
