Football Jeff Strasser departs Progrès Niederkorn by mutual consent

FC Progrès Niederkorn and its coach Jeff Strasser have decided to terminate their collaboration.

FC Progrès Niederkorn informed the public of the decision in a press release on Tuesday, expressing gratitude towards Strasser’s professionalism and his commitment as contributing factors to the recent success of the club.

Progrès gained qualification to the Europa League qualifying round in 2023, after finishing second in the National Championship, and lifted the Luxembourgish Cup in 2023/24 – its first in 46 years.

The 98-times-capped former Luxembourgish national footballer became FC Progrès Niederkorn’s coach in June 2022. Currently, the team lies in sixth place with 33 points in the Luxembourg National Division.
