On Tuesday morning, police were called to an apartment building on Avenue de la Liberté in Differdange following reports of an intoxicated individual behaving aggressively.
Several officers were dispatched to the scene, where they encountered the individual using the building’s lift to move between floors. The situation escalated when the person attempted to attack an officer with a fire extinguisher. However, the officers successfully defended themselves and subdued the individual.
After a medical check-up, the person was placed in a police cell to sober up. Authorities issued a fine for rebellion against police officers.
