A wrong-way driver was reported on the A4 in the early hours of Wednesday morning, at around 3.20am. The motorist was not only travelling in the wrong direction on the motorway, but also chose to exit via the Pontpierre slip road, again driving against the flow of traffic.

Police officers managed to stop the vehicle shortly afterwards on the N13. During the check, clear signs of alcohol consumption were detected.

The driver’s licence was immediately confiscated.
