In Niederkorn, two people had been drinking so heavily that they had been taking turns at the wheel. Police noticed they kept veering off the road. When the car was eventually found in a car park, breathalyser tests were carried out. Both the woman behind the wheel and the passenger tested positive, whereupon they had their licences revoked. A suspected pickpocket was arrested in Luxembourg City. According to initial information, the man had stolen his victim's wallet in a bistro. A patrol was able to stop the man shortly afterwards, and he was taken to the police station. An investigation is underway.
